Back in October, my good friend, Lauren got married to her beau Mark, and I was super jazzed to get to photograph it. Lauren is one of my longest active friendships (since 5th grade). She is intelligent, independent, creative, and very welcoming-- one of those who makes you feel at home with her no matter where you are. I have admired her for years, raising her little doppelgänger, Joules, alone all the while putting herself through school.
Their big day took place in Searcy, Arkansas at the Robbins-Sanford Grand Hall, and it was one of the best, most laid back days. Great people. Great music. Great food and drinks. It was a photographers dream, complete with a very charismatic bridal party who I hung out with until the wee hours of the morning. Note to self: I should stay away from all things sangria because that stuff doesn't joke around.
Lauren, you are radiant, and I couldn't be more happy for you! Congratulations, Johnsons!
